New Paper published “COVID-19: Human rights trade-offs, challenges and policy responses”

  The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every country in 2020 and is having both short and long term impacts on human rights. The Governance Group and the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights are pleased to announce the publication of the paper “COVID-19: Human rights trade-offs, challenges and policy responses”. The paper has been written as part of the Angola Human Rights Project in collaboration with the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights and provides lessons learned and guidance on how governments can continue to respect, protect and remedy human rights while responding effectively to the Covid-19 pandemic.
